General Description:
Gallium aluminum arsenic buried heterostructure laser diode assembly with an emission wavelenth of 830nm. Theunits shall be packaged in a hermeticatically sealed, 14 pin dip with thermoelectric cooler, thermistor, and detector. No epoxy or other organic material shall be used in fiber alignment. The units shall be pigtailed with corning 50 micron core, 125 micron claddining fiber. The fiber pigtails shall have an length of 15 +/- 2 in. The fiber pigtain shall be jacketed and connectorized with an amphenol 906-110-5001 or amphenol 906-110-5021sma connector
