General Description:
Element will be exercised 10 times by compressing element from free ht.To the ht. Corresponding to a 400 lb. Load, after exercising element will be preloaded 60 lbs. +/- 5 lbs. And cap will be hand tightened flush to washer; cap and shaft will be drilled and pinned; 60 lbs. +/- 5 lbs. Preload will bemet after cap has been pinned to shaft, except that a max. Deflection of 0.003 in. Is allowable prior to reaching the 60 lbs. +/- 5 lbs.
