Functional Description:
Embedded gps/ins (egi) unit is a self-contained all-attitude navigation line replaceable unit providing outputs of acceleration, attitude (azimuth, pitch, roll), attitude rates, heading, position, velocity, associated time tag information, and universal time coordinated (utc) synchronized time via externally controlled mil-std-1553b dual multiplex data bus which requests data & transmits updated data based upon the requirements of the interfacing avionics sysetems.
